AI assistant hours

When the AI assistant answers calls on its own.

AI assistant hours define when the voice bot answers calls on its own. Outside these windows, calls can be redirected to an alternative number, handled by human operators or follow the configured transfer rules.

How to configure

For each of the seven days of the week choose: closed (no AI answer), open 24/7 or specific time slots. You can set multiple slots in the same day (e.g. morning and evening) to cover only the hours you need automatic voice screening.

Different from opening hours

AI hours don't have to match your business opening hours. Many customers keep the AI active even after hours to receive bookings and requests 24/7, while the AI is closed during certain hours when people answer directly.

Best practices

  • Restaurants. Enable the AI 30 minutes before opening to handle early reservations.
  • Services and professionals. Consider extended hours to answer requests outside office hours.
  • Stores. Keep the AI active during store hours for product and availability info.
  • Clinics and offices. Use time slots to handle appointments also during lunch breaks.
