Shop and catalogue

The shop in yourang.ai

What it's for, when it makes sense to use it, and how it ties into the voice assistant.

The Shop module lets you register the products and services you offer, organise them in a catalogue, and enable the assistant to sell them or collect orders during calls and chats.

When to use the shop

  • Selling complementary products. A hotel selling spa packages, a restaurant with bottles of wine, a B&B with local specialities. The shop manages price list, stock, and orders.
  • Fixed-price services. Beauty-centre treatments, transfers, bookable activities. The shop defines the services and their variants.
  • Take-away orders. For restaurants with phone or WhatsApp orders, the shop is the price list the assistant consults to record dishes correctly.

Catalogue, orders, inventory

  • Catalogue. The list of everything you sell: products, services, variants, prices, descriptions, images.
  • Orders. The requests collected through the channels (call, chat, website): status, amount, payment, fulfilment.
  • Inventory (optional). For physical products with limited stock, the system tracks availability and warns when an item runs out.

Even if you don't sell directly

Even if you don't manage sales, populating the catalogue with services is useful: the assistant consults it to answer questions about prices, availability, and variants. A living price table is better than a static PDF.
