WhatsApp contacts and lists
Dedicated address book, segmentation, opt-in, and GDPR-compliant management.
WhatsApp contacts form a subset of your general address book: they are the customers you have enabled to receive communications on this channel. Managing them well is the foundation of effective and compliant campaigns.
Consent and opt-in
To write to a customer via WhatsApp, explicit consent to receive messages on this channel is required. yourang.ai tracks for each contact the date and channel where consent was collected (online form, voice confirmation, WhatsApp opt-in itself). If a removal is requested, the contact can be deactivated with a single click.
Segmented lists
You can group contacts into lists based on static criteria (e.g. 'VIP customers 2025') or dynamic ones (e.g. 'Customers who have booked in the last 6 months'). Dynamic lists update automatically as the data changes.
Targeted campaigns
- Define the target list. The more qualified the list, the better the conversion rates and the less disturbance for recipients.
- Choose the template. Marketing or utility, depending on the purpose. The system prevents the use of inappropriate templates.
- Personalise the variables. Name, date, specific references. A personalised message performs better than a generic one.
- Schedule the send. Choose a sensible time (not late at night, not very early morning). yourang.ai can also distribute the send to avoid bombarding the system.
- Monitor the results. Delivery, read, and response rates. They teach a lot about what works and what doesn't.
