Meta Agent

The Meta agent in yourang

What the Meta agent does and why it brings AI assistance where your customers already write: Instagram and Facebook.

The Meta agent brings yourang's conversational intelligence to Instagram and Facebook: it automatically replies to direct messages (DMs), responds to comments on your posts, and moderates public conversations — in your business's tone, around the clock.

Why an agent on Instagram and Facebook

  • Your customers are already there. More and more pricing enquiries, availability checks, and booking requests arrive via DM or in the comments, not over the phone. The Meta agent captures these opportunities instead of leaving them unanswered.
  • Instant replies. A message left unanswered for hours is a customer looking elsewhere. The agent replies within seconds, at any time of day.
  • Comments under control. Public questions on a post get a helpful response; comments that are clearly offensive or spam can be hidden automatically, protecting your profile's image.
  • Same brain as the voice assistant. The agent draws on the same information you have provided to the platform (hours, services, price lists, procedures) to respond consistently across every channel.

What the Meta agent handles

  • Instagram direct messages. Replies to DMs received on your professional Instagram account.
  • Facebook Messenger messages. Replies to messages received on your Facebook Page.
  • Comments. Replies publicly to comments on posts and, if you choose, hides abusive ones.
  • Unified inbox. Every conversation — automated or handled by a person — is collected in a single inbox viewable from the dashboard.

How it works, in four steps

  1. 1

    Prepare your Meta accounts

Set up your Facebook Page and Instagram profile once (professional account, linking, message access). Everything is explained on the «Prepare your Meta accounts» page.

  2. 2

    Connect your accounts to yourang

From the Integrations section press «Connect» on the Meta card and authorize access. You only do this once.

  3. 3

Create and configure the Meta agent

Create a Meta-type agent, give it a name, write the instructions, and choose how it should handle messages and comments. Then activate it.

  4. 4

The agent replies and you monitor from the inbox

From that point on, every DM or comment is handled automatically. You follow everything from the inbox and, whenever you want, take over a conversation yourself.

Where to start

Follow the pages in this section in the order they are listed: first «Prepare your Meta accounts», then «Connect Instagram and Facebook», then create and configure the agent. Each page guides you step by step.
