Custom fields

Add information specific to your business to every contact

Every business has its own needs. Custom fields let you add information specific to your business to every contact's profile, from preferred table to food allergies, from regular room to chosen language of communication, without being limited to standard fields.

When to use custom fields

Standard fields (name, phone, email, language) cover basic information. For anything specific to your business, custom fields offer the flexibility you need.

  • Restaurants and bars. Table preferences, allergies or intolerances, dietary type, favourite wine.
  • Hotels and accommodation. Preferred room, preferred floor, special requests for pillow or temperature, pet on the trip.
  • Leisure and wellness facilities. Preferred treatments, reference instructor, active subscription.

Available field types

Text
Free field for any kind of text information. Ideal for notes, descriptive preferences, or internal codes.
Number
For numeric values such as room number, regular party size, or customer code.
Yes / No
For binary indicators: vegetarian customer, club member, pet yes/no.
Multiple choice
List of predefined options to choose from. Useful for fixed categories like dietary type or floor preference.

How to create a custom field

  1. 1

    Go to Settings

    From the sidebar select "Settings" and then the "Contact custom fields" option.

  2. 2

    Add a new field

    Click "Add field" and choose the type between text, number, yes/no, or multiple choice.

  3. 3

    Assign a name

    Enter a clear, recognisable name, such as "Allergies", "Preferred room", or "Dietary type".

  4. 4

    Configure the options (if needed)

    For multiple-choice fields, enter all the available options separated by a comma.

  5. 5

    Save and use

    The field immediately appears in every contact's profile. You can fill it in directly from the customer's record.

Custom fields in campaigns

Custom fields can be used as additional columns in the CSV files for call campaigns. This way the voice assistant can access customer-specific information during the call.

Editing and deleting fields

Editing the name of a custom field doesn't alter the data already entered. Deleting a field, however, permanently removes all information saved for every contact. This operation is not reversible.
